Vektor: Ultra Light

This London Fashion Week, we are proud to host Berlin fashion duo Vektor in the Fashion Scout exhibition space with their SS16 collection: Ultra Light. Ultra Light reduces smart-casual to simple elegance, with designers Kristina Puljan and Martin Eichler drawing inspiration from their upbringing in the 90s. Heavy silhouettes and denim cuts of 90s skater style form one half of their concept, which is combined and contrasted with their other influence; the lightness and movement of ballet. This comes through in the clean colour palette and soft textures of the garments.

Vektor blend the effortless look of street-style and sportswear with contemporary fashion, crafting high quality garments that can be worn as unisex. This is the thing people should know, says designer, Kristina Puljan, emphasising the androgynous nature of their apparel. In this decade, the idea of gender in fashion has transformed, and by creating a unisex collection Vecktor send a very important message that contributes to the discourse around gender and fashion.

Fashion Scout are happy to showcase a collection so innovative, head to the exhibition spaces at the Freemasons Hall to see Vektor and all the other exhibiting designers this London Fashion Week.

Fashion Scout at London Fashion Week runs from 18th-22nd September 2015 in the Freemasons' Hall, WC2B 5AZ.
