CJ YAO AT FASHION SCOUT AW15!

Marking her debut season with us, womenswear designer C. J. Yao is showing her AW15 collection, having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2012!

The label is based on a new aesthetic appreciation of women with contemporary lifestyles and attitudes, consisting of oversized but wearable clothing.

Since her designs caught St Martins' eye back in 2012 the Yao's creations have been seen in likes of iD, dMag and Vulture magazine and have been shown as part of Shanghai Fashion Week.

C. J. Yao's collection will be taking the catwalk from 20^th-24^th February 2015 at the Freemasons’ Hall in Convent Garden.

NEWS| Henry Holland spotted in Joseph Turvey

The last week has been very busy for Vauxhall Fashion Scout's Joseph Turvey. Not only was he interviewed by VFS following his return from Shanghai Fashion Week, but a couple of celebs have been spotted wearing his label. 

First of all, designer/DJ/VFS fan Henry Holland was featured in an editorial spread for XOXO The Mag wearing Mr Turvey's Navy Lace Jacket and Shirt. HH was then spotted - by none other than Vogue Italia -  at Snowdon Blue's launch by Acne Studios wearing another Joseph Turvey number. 

Eponymous singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf, on his world tour, decided to join Henry by donning Joseph Turvey's lace shirt but this time it was teamed with Joseph Turvey's lace shorts.

NEWS| VFS catches up with Joseph Turvey following Shanghai Fashion Week

AW12 Men's Ones to Watch star Joseph Turvey opened Shanghai Fashion Week on April 17th with his latest collection. The fashion week, sponsored by Loreal and Absolute vodka has become renowned as platform for young Chinese and international designers. 

Once Joseph Turvey returned from Shanghai, VFS caught up with him to chat about SFW...

"Showing during Shanghai fashion week was amazing. Shanghai is a city like no other... The buildings look like they are something from science fiction novel. Presenting the collection to such a massive audience and completely different target market was a nerve racking and extremely rewarding. Shanghai fashion week is growing each season with Dior and PPQ headlining this season. My show gained numerous press attention and I was interviewed by China Fashion TV stations and publications after the show. There is talk of showing in Hong Kong in June...Which would be fun."
