Today at our Fashion Scout showroom we have the Graduate Showcase preview taking over our pop up space. Designers featured include some of the stand out creatives from this year's Graduate Fashion Week, as well as other standout graduates - ranging from leading universities across the UK.
From left to right we see, Camilla Grimes from the Manchester School of Art with her signature piece that won over judges from this year's GFW 2014 show. The said cat mortified jacket hung trimmed in hot pink fur paired with sheer floral board shorts.
Luke Bullen and Jana Dahmen from the London College of Fashion showcased a free flowing tailored dress with a dramatic shoulder piece. Hemlines appeared sheared, fitting in closely with the raw aesthetic of the piece.
Quoi Alexander from Central Saint Martins exhibited an explosion of early toned thick materials, weaved together its outline was finished in leather strands.
Grace Weller from Bath Spa University, who won the Gold Award at GFW 2014 showcased her winning piece today. Its contrasting palette of burnt orange and dark navy laced the mannequin in two pieces, subtly simple, yet mesmerising.
The last of the graduate showcase was Emma Hardstaff from the Royal College of Art. Her garment gathered in various places, created a graphic silhouette. Its netting overlay complimented the textured metallic pink material, subtly disguising the vibrancy of the threads.
Be sure to see the full graduate showcase all day on Sunday in the Vestibule.
