There was a very calm atmosphere backstage for E.Tautz, with just over an hour to go before the first show. Backstage crew were re-steaming the odd shirt and tailored pair of trousers with calm precision. The first male model was in the process of make-up, applied by make-up
artist for The Body Shop, Claire Degraft. She explained to Vauxhall Fashion
Scout that the look is very clean and prim, applying natural looking layers of
foundation brushed and worked into the forehead, cheeks, eyelids and neckline
and using a layer of mascara and clear lip gloss to finish.
The hair was also under way thanks to sponsors Toni&Guy, embodying the same attributes of a simple, natural and streamlined
appearance, hair-dried back and sprayed into place to create a slightly quiffed
and voluminous effect. The looks scrupulously reflected the garments in the E.Tautz collection.
