Former
Merit Award winner Leutton Postle returns to Vauxhall Fashion Week for AW12/13,
cementing themselves as a key designer for LFW.
Knitwear
brand Leutton Postle was created by Sam Leutton and Jenny Postle, who met at prestigious
school Central St Martins in 2010. Whilst Jenny’s graduate collection was
bought by Browns, Sam went travelling in China and worked with knitwear
specialist Stoll. Upon returning; the brand Leutton Postle was born.
Chosen by
Vauxhall Fashion Scout for the Merit Award- their
collection of complexly created and unique couture knits were set for a bright
future. Bridging the gap between the technically advanced and
creatively free, Leutton Postle collates a range of influences- embracing
colour, varying surface texture and rich patterns to create beautifully unique
knit-based garments for women.
Their debut
SS12 season at Vauxhall Fashion Scout was met with praise from critics; an
immensely intricate and conceptually beautiful collection with multi-coloured
shades and textured materials. They
are returning to Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s Freemason’s Hall on Tuesday
21st February at 5.00pm.
