Olya Stelmakhova presents Ostel, a womenswear line established in 2012 with the current motto to 'create a new reality with a clean sheet’.
After Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days SS14, Ostel continues to deliver fresh urban womenswear to enhance and not overpower a wearer's identity. Calm tones and longer lengths produced tender looks whilst mesh, crochet and fringe detailing brought strength and sex appeal to otherwise classic designs. Picture one part floral tea dress spliced with one side in oatmeal jersey and you’re on your way to understanding Ostel's customer – feminine but provocative and desperate to stand out from the sea of blank canvases.
The theme of Ostel's latest collection (FAIS – Future As I See) develops this concept, picturing a future of simple style cut through with unique, innovative accents. For this, the label offers redesigned outerwear, cap-sleeved dresses with detachable pockets and natural sand and stone embellishments. Knitted fabrics and jersey are a favourite to enhance the female form.
From online store to Donetsk Fashion Days, experimentation will continue to be a key Ostel trademark.
