The conservation pioneers, Elephant Family, have teamed up with BODYAMR and the broadcaster/filmmaker, Zara Martin, to paint an exclusive elephant for an exciting new project called Elephant Parade. Sponsored by the Evening Standard, and launched to help raise awareness for the endangered Asian Elephant, the project is part of London’s biggest outdoor art fair which has seen 250 life size, multi-coloured elephants spring up all over London.
Encapsulating the sleek, modern style adored by London-born designer Amr, the pink and black elephant is the latest in a series of art collaborations by BODYAMR. Retailing at Harrods, START Hoxton and globally through Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdales, the BODYAMR and Zara Martin Elephant takes pride of place outside Harrods on Hans Crescent.
Mini Elephants are also available at Selfridges, 80 Regent Street, 36 Carnaby St, Greenwich Central Market and at the online shop.

Piers Atkinson in Sunday Times Style
As soon as we saw this fabulous image of the uber glam, Alexandra Burke, we spotted the talents of VFS designer, Piers Atkinson, straight away. Perched atop the head two shiny, supersized red cherries sit happily as Alexandra models a rather skimpy little two piece, finishing off the summery outfit to a tee. Forget Carmen Miranda, Piers is the man to make fruit look fashionable. If only we looked as good at this with fruit on our head...well done Piers!

Browns Birthday Celebrations: David Koma Exhibits
The South Molten Street fashion empire, Browns, is celebrating its 40th birthday this year, and, unsurprisingly, a long list of designers are involved in the celebrations, including Fashion Scout’s David Koma. From the 12th May there will be a special exhibition held at the Regent Penthouses, presenting a decade-by-decade look at the designers who have been involved with Browns over the years. David will be showing his pieces, which are currently on sale in Browns Focus, alongside Ossie Clark, Gareth Pugh, Calvin Klein and Hussein Chalayan, in what’s set to be a rather grand, highly styled and expertly curated event. Coming from Browns, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
From 12th May (open to the public from 13th May)

All Eyes On Iris
We were over the moon when we saw that the lovely lot over at F.Tape had featured Iris Van Herpen's gorgeous AW10 collection on their home page. Placing Iris firmly in the spotlight, we never stop marvelling at her ingenious use of slashed leather and magical, awe-inspiring construction. Completely and utterly gorgeous.
