Recognise magazine has featured a selection of this seasons VFS designer line up within the fashion pages of its Sept/October issue. A 14 page fashion editorial styled by Shyla Hassan presents pieces by A.Hallucination, Kirsty Ward, Masha Ma, Georgia Hardinge, Hermoine de Paula, Charlotte Taylor, David Longshaw and previous Merit Award Winner, William Tempest; all of whom have been dubbed by the lifestyle publication as ‘the designers of the next generation'...

SS'11 Look Book from A.Hallucination

With a mix of interchangeable garments including linen shorts, panelled shirts and mac trenches in shades of brown, navy, green and cream, 'Paper Planes' the SS '11 collection from A.Hallucination reflects a theme inspired by the design-duo's childhood memories, as well as the beauty and freedom of a gliding paper plane. For accessories this season, the pair collaborated with accessory designer, Jarah Stoop, introducing the A.Hallucination philosophy to a display of stylish messenger bags and cool-casual rucksacks...

Applications Open for
Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s 10th Season

Vauxhall Fashion Scout opens applications for London Fashion Week February 2011. The search now begins for the best cutting edge designers as London’s leading showcase for fashion innovation nears its 10th season!

Renown for showcasing the likes of Peter Pilotto, David Koma, Krystof Strozyna, Tim Soar, Cooperative Designs, Iris Van Herpen, Felicity Brown and William Tempest, Vauxhall Fashion Scout has established a reputation for providing a prestigious platform for both On-Schedule and new designers. 

Applications are now open for womenswear and menswear designers for catwalk, presentation and salon shows in London, exhibitions in London and Paris, as well as the Merit Award and Ones To Watch.

To showcase at Vauxhall Fashion Scout designers must have reached the creative and business levels required for an event of this stature. Successful designers will be selected by our panel of industry experts and will be judged on their creativity, quality and business status.

This February Vauxhall Fashion Scout will host their shows, presentations, designer exhibition and media centre in their permanent venue, the prestigious Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden, During Paris Fashion Week, Vauxhall Fashion Scout will invite a selection of designers to exhibit in the Paris Showroom, next to the Picasso Museum in the heart of the Marais.

Successful designers will also benefit from Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s coveted approach to supporting fashion design businesses. The initiative includes a year-long mentoring programme with targeted seminars aimed at helping designers to build and maintain sustainable, creative businesses.

Applications open from Monday 25th October and close on Monday 15th November 2010.
