Tomorrow, Pam Hogg will be talking 1980s club fashion at the Victoria & Albert Museum. With their Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s exhibition having just finished, Hogg is the perfect person to explore the explosive creativity of the scene with. The exhibition, which featured Hogg's pieces, showcased the work of some of the most experimental of club designers. With over 85 outfits, it also included the work of Betty Jackson and John Galliano.
Emerging in the 1980s as part of the club designers London had to offer, her collections have always stayed true to the punk aesthetic deep rooted in music she's become known for. This season, Hogg presented a collection dedicated to Pussy Riot on the Fashion Scout catwalk and only seemed to reinforce that, over three decades later, she's still at the top of her game.
