LFW Day 1 - Eudon Choi Catwalk Review

As Susie Bubble herself put it, Eudon had given us “a continuation of what he’d done last season; luxurious utility.” Known previously for his masculine cuts and fabrics, Eudon’s A/W11 collection called ‘Haute Ecole’ was surprisingly very feminine. Chiffon dresses and crisp shirts added a light feel to the collection in a palette of soft cream green and white; fabulously styled with risky equestrian strap-on body belts. Pockets again in Eudon’s collection were more than practicality; adding detail to the coats and curve hugging skirts, the large side pockets were in soft shearling and leather. The jersey jumper and dress with puffed sleeves looked cosy and understated as did the panelled body-con mini dresses.

The highlight of the collection for us was the black split chiffon gown with a horse buckle shoulder strap. The sharp cream coat with buckle detailing was also a favourite. Tailored pieces were clean and strong, jackets featured furry trimming down the arms and were collar-less.
Eudon’s beautifully wearable collection will be a favourite amongst buyers and we are sure the fashionable run-about town girls will be sporting his coats this winter.
