A celebration of texture, the collection showcased sheer, mesh and heavy brushed felt items. Delicate dresses with an elegant appeal were toughened by fierce, black heeled boots and statement belts. The jewellery designer presented innovative and unusual embellished pieces, including tribal inspired neck and body garments. Jewellery was incorporated into the stunning clothing producing a hard, powerful effect. The prominent cuffs even incorporated door hinges and jewellery clips mixing hardware with the lighter feminine designs.
The colour palette was a whirl of whites and creams, with rustic oranges and perfectly contrasted tough black. Subtle pieces, such as sheer shirts, were juxtaposed with black edging and tailored open-kneed trousers, further establishing the distinctive contrast theme. Bronze colour was spotted lending a heavy metallic edge to mini dresses and bracelet links.
The collection boldly experimented with shape resulting in surprising, fresh creations. These included a crop top with a draped cut out edge and the final skirt, interestingly put together with loose panelling. Cut out pieces were seen, ranging from a cheeky black mesh midi dress to an open backed winter coat. Overall, a delightful and eclectic AW collection.
