Fashion Shenzhen 2 - Tangy

john cena
Fashion Shenzhen came to Vauxhall Fashion Scout on Monday showcasing three womenswear designers, Groundshow, XINDIER and Tangy. The visit was a way to showcase the Shenzhen creative talent to London’s fashion savvy crowd. Tangy was the third designer to grace the catwalk, and with a design aesthetic of creating elegant and wearable clothing, founder and creative director, Liang Zi, did just that for spring/summer 2010.

The collection was elegant and chic, creating a relaxed atmosphere within the room, using soft music and making the models walk barefoot. The colour palette was an array of brown and cream shades, used to accentuate the faded blacks and bright whites. Organza ‘lounge’ trousers came out in variations of muted shades and earth tones and teamed with cowl neck tunics in a wash of brown hues. Light embellishment was used on the front of baggy unstructured dresses styled with dainty clutches - giving a feminine silhouette a little sparkle. The show glided by, but not without a bang as Tangy sent a show-stopping, pure white maxi-dress down the catwalk for head-to-toe glamour.
Tangy’s collection was extremely wearable, feminine and classy, the perfect wardrobe for that well earned, and chic, summer break.
