Exhibiting designer, Jennifer Morris described the event as a great chance to meet people, and discover new talent - “There's always such a good selection of designers that they're showcasing so it's good to be among other talents. Getting advice from other people is great, you can all help each other. It's nice to see such different collections, and good to see contrast.”
Press in attendance included Fashion156, whose production affiliate Fashion 156 Creative were involved with the Graduate Showcase; we caught up with Victoria Roe, who had this to say of the collections on offer-
“I really love this collection here [Jennifer Morris]; that's really stuck out for me... and Liz Black as well. Both are completely wearable, but totally different to what I was expecting to see; it's all been really really beautiful."
Harald Weiler from DASH magazine was also impressed, “Vauxhall Fashion Scout always has the most interesting emerging designers. I'm here for the second season now and I'm a big fan of Eleanor Amoroso; [it's] her combination of perfect craftsmanship and pure elegance”.

Internation Receptions host, Fashion Monitor's Sarah Penny summed up why Fashion Monitor and VFS work together as partners to provide the very best opportunities for our designers: “I think it's a great opportunity to encourage designers. We bring our contacts here, that's what Fashion Monitor really does is highlights new talent so it's a really good event for people to just get together with all the press and PR's and promote young talent.”
Promoting young talent, and serving as a launchpad for international designers' careers is exactly what Vauxhall Fashion Scout is here for, and the International Reception highlighted the opportunities we, at VFS, and Fashion Monitor offer.
