COLLECTION| RunWay Collective Feb'13

The RunWay Collective made it's debut today at Fashion Scout showcasing the AW' 13 collections from Turkish designers.

We were introduced to two international emerging design talents for the showcase, Nihan Buruk and Jale Hurdogan .

Nazari's collection titled, Nian, was a powerful collection which was tailored to perfection, fabrics were manipulated in such a way that the pleats resembled armour, leaving the avant-garde aesthetic of the designer clear to all.

The Nazari girl wore a mix of wools and leathers with hues at the start of the collection ranging from black, charcoal greys to emerald greens. Towards the end of the collection colours brightened to crimson reds and whites. During the show there were mumbles of appreciation with a few guests exclaiming "I love this show".

The Jale Hurdogan show mixed Turkish traditions with western looks. The designer's mix of knits and lace was a real innovation. This collection was far more feminine than the previous collection. Dresses were sheer and billowed down the catwalk.
