If there's ever a designer to put on a performance, it's Pam Hogg. One of the most anticipated shows of the season, ballet dancers and full frontal nudity were all integrated within her AW13 collection 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.
In another offering of what she does
best, the punk inspired designer opened with sterile white pieces
donning blocked headpieces that touched on the nurse-chic of her
previous collection. The show was quick to progress though as her
signature geometric, latex creations took the stage in the form of
striking ballet and models walking on the tips of their toes.
An eerie soundtrack, paired with the
introduction of black outfits and dramatic veiling all added a darker
twist to the already impressive collection before statement colours
and metallics were re-introduced. Embracing the fitting title to the
collection, the oriental red and Eastern music continued to march
impressive outfits of bodysuits, full length capes as well as an
evening dress down the runway in what could have been described as
Hogg's most wearable collection to date.
Another impressive collection from the
cult-punk icon, Pam Hogg's pieces danced from the dark to the
dramatic in yet another truly memorable show.
