Fashion Scout S/S 13 Ones To Watch designer Hellen van Rees previews her A/W  13 collection in a film that captures the essence of the movement and fluidity in her work. After rave reviews from the OTW Showcase, the Central Saint Martins graduate has been featured on Dazed Digital and garnered fans of her sculptural pieces with Lady Gaga being seen wearing a look from Hellen’s AW12 collection “Square One:  The Miracle of the Space Age”.

The film which features her A/W 13 collection, “Square 3 Angle: The Transformation”  is a collaboration with Evelien Gerrits of EveMedia  telling a story of shape and form beautifully, with tweed used in a raw technique where frayed edges balance delicately with simple shapes. Known at Fashion Scout for her geometric sculptures, the film gives the energy and life to these forms that navigates through Hellen’s concept of transformation freely.

Meanwhile, Hellen has also released preview images to accompany for her AW13 collection. Set against a background of black and white, the look book displays the new collection, worn by a faceless silhouette effectively displaying the garments that stay true to the colourful, cubic look the Dutch womenswear designer has become known for.

Hellen van Rees will showcase her A/W 13 collection at Fashion Scout’s London and Paris showrooms.
