Young Ukrainian designer Irina Krasilnikova showcases her AW14 collection 'Transitions' at Fashion Scout today as part of Kiev Fashion Days. Krasilnikova’s handcrafted knitted pieces give the
illusion of 3D shapes which unravel to reveal what is indeed laser
implementation. Tracing the subtle movement between reality and falsity, the
garments reflect the natural human desire to change the things around us.
“I
strive towards bringing versatility within my design, thus offering
conversational pieces that are created to evolve with the wearer”, she
explains. “My designs are for a very contemporary urban woman, and I think it’s
an obvious and a well-balanced woman”.
Krasilnikova’s innovative approach to
design creates a new paradigm which integrates sophistication and romanticism.
Boasting the international interest of ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Bazaar, the
emerging designer brings forth a panache collection which marks a shift in
brand development.
