As part of Body Shop sponsoring Fashion Scout this season, we were thrilled to have two make-up stands located in the Media Lounge for guests to engage with throughout the week. Make-up artists chatted with guests whilst they reviewed the popular products for the season and makeovers took place daily. We chatted with Head of PR, Zoe Cook for Body Shop earlier today who shared her thoughts on the success of Body Shop this season at Fashion Scout.
What’s The Body Shop stand all about?
The
Body Shop stand is all about showcasing our fabulous make-up collection, which
is used on the models backstage, and encouraging Fashion Scout guests to have a
makeover by one of our store make-up artists and try the products for
themselves. The reaction to the Colour Crush™ Eyes and Lips ranges has been amazing,
as has the All-In-BB Creams and primers. Guests have been delighted with the
colour intensity and pay-off and the results that can be achieved.
What’s
it like it being back for another season?
Being
back at Fashion Scout London is fantastic; it’s a partnership that celebrates
and supports new talent - for The Body Shop that takes place backstage with a
talented team of make-up artists headed up by Lan Nguyen-Grealis. It’s
wonderful to see their creativity come to life and the stunning looks produced
to complement the designers’ collections.
How
has the response been?
The
response to The Body Shop Make-up collection has been amazing. Guests have been
bowled over by the looks that head make-up artist Lan Nguyen-Grealis and her
team have created for the shows, as well as the makeovers that have been taking
place by our stand. The latter has been hugely popular and extremely busy with
queues over the first three days.
