Time for Tea?

Photography by Lucas Seidenfaden
See how happy I am drinking a cup of *TeaShed chai? At the International Reception guests were treated to a choice of delicious *TeaShed teas – perfect on a Sunday morning, or any time of day for that matter.

Born and brewed in Britain, *TeaShed is quintessentially British down to its quirky graphics and cheeky tea nicknames – anyone for a cup of ‘4am tea’? All *TeaShed teas are made from the finest tealeaves, lovingly encased in silky pyramid bags - a world away from the tea plant ‘dust’ that some tea companies fill their tea bags with.

There is a tea to suit every character, occasion and time of day. For those afternoon slumps ‘Pick me up at 3’ tea is a caffeine rich Assam tea, whilst white ‘4am’ tea is naturally low in caffeine, the perfect cuppa before bed. At the International Reception I sipped on ‘Baby it’s cold outside’ chai tea, a spicy blend to warm your hands and your heart.

TeaShed’s distinctive paper cups (*TeaShed teabags come packaged in the cups) are an ingenious way of encouraging tea-drinkers to recycle – and it’s handy to grab on your morning rush to work. Even better, you won’t waste your day standing in a queue at a coffee chain!
