BACKSTAGE| House of Evolution SS14

Fast paced and buzzing, backstage at the House of Evolution presentation was in full swing. Lead make up artist Jo Sugar was busy with The Body Shop team demonstrating the key features when we spoke to head stylists with the Toni & Guy sessional team: Chie Sato and Pinar Necati (third stylist Maria Galati). With two designers prepping to showcase their SS14 collections in the Fashion Scout catwalk hall it was all hands on deck as two contrasting looks were being sculpted to represent the two different collections.

Romance was the buzzword at Hema Kaul. Soft styling; hair was to be pulled back and left loose. With height on the head; it was a young girl grown up look with a strong centre parting. The centre parting was also being utilised with the Josh & Nicol models. A contrasting wet and dry look was being fused from front to back with moisture being focussed around the face and drawn back into a chignon.

Label.m key products included the Volume Mousse, the Gel to create the wet look and hairspray to keep loose ends in place.
