Rohmir creative director Olga Roh returned to the Fashion Scout catwalk hall this week to showcase her long awaited Spring Summer 2014 collection. The air was static as the front row filled, the promise of Dali and diamonds through a pre-show speech heightened the excitement and as the lights came up on the first look all eyes were on the far end of the runway in anticipation.
It was a race already won with the first number; a gold sequinned mini dress, slightly ruffled at the back to create movement. Wide sleeves and cowl drapes flattered the form and mottled printed silks were enhanced through sinuous fringing. Dorothy ruby red lips glittered to complement the lurex jacquards. A versatile line-up; twin sets to complete a luxurious wardrobe were strong and plentiful.
A classic silhouette was the cornerstone of Rohmir SS14. Femininity and fierceness were juxtaposed through animalistic prints and heavy embellishments that accentuated the hourglass figure. Plunging necklines, perfect evening wear and midnight hues closed the show to rapturous applause.
