Closing day three of Fashion Scout, we saw the House of Evolution
catwalk show which celebrated the SS14 collections of two designers – Hema Kaul
and Josh & Nicol.
Starting the show with a burst of satin and feminine lace, Hema’s
collection showcased 18 looks, each centering around the beauty of female form.
Elegant and sophisticated, the designs ranged from pastel co-ords to
embellished evening dresses, with textured PVC skirts; to opulent full-skirted
ball gowns, embellished with lavish black jewels.
Following Hema’s impressive offering, we saw Josh & Nicol’s
playful collection, also mastering the art of chic, glamour-fueled womenswear.
Black cut-out fabrications were layered over neon structured dresses, necklines
were accentuated and exaggerated and utility style jumpsuits were designed with
a seductive twist. Dresses were detailed with fringing and blazers adopted
sharp shoulders. The dramatic eye make-up look created by The Body Shop
finished the looks to perfection.
