Fashion Scout was taken over by international designers yesterday,
both on and off the catwalk. Here at Freemasons Hall we saw all six of the Kiev
Fashion Days designers showcase their work on the catwalk in the morning and
later at the Kiev Fashion Days Exhibition in the Prince Regent room from 2pm –
6pm.
Not only did this allow us to see the models wearing each design as
they strut down the catwalk, but it also allowed us to see each of the
collections up close, in a more relaxed setting, allowing us to pay proper
attention to each and every detail. The standard of talent showcased across the
board was impeccable, as was the diversity of the collections.
Ranging from the cornucopia
of youthful motifs emblazoned on simple tailored structured clothes at RCR
Khomenko, to the Elegantly lengthy gowns made from decadent satins and
sparkling folds of lurex at Lera Leshchova, to the sports luxe inspired designs
at Yasya - each collection shone in it’s own light. With great reviews and much
press attention, the exhibition was quite the success.
