Ahead of this afternoons Ji Cheng catwalk show, the Fashion Scout
team caught up with our sponsors Tony&Guy and The Body Shop UK to see what
looks they have created.
Ji Cheng’s collection derives heavily from far eastern influences;
therefore this needed to be reflected in both the hair and the make-up. The
Body Shop UK have been working with a palette of cherry blossom pinks and natural
hues to create a light base tone, with a dewy radiant feel and dramatic blocked
Geisha inspired eyebrows, using The Body Shop ‘Radiant Highlighter’ and the
‘Palette 21’ Shimmer Cube.
Similarly the hair is traditionally Geisha with a modern twist,
inspired by both The Great Gatsby and a Chinese 1920’s opera singer.
Tony&Guy’s stylist Becky Dobney told us how the simple style encompasses a
braid flat to the back of the head and a split ponytail bun on top; both
stylised and conceptual.
