As day three of Fashion Scout, here at Freemasons Hall is came to a
close last night, we had a little time to reflect on the collections we have seen grace the catwalk,
the make up looks that have been specially created for each designer and, of
course the hair trends we have spotted so far.
Whilst some styles have been more avant-garde in origin – for
example Krystof Strozyna’s stylised wigs and Lug Von Siga’s tribal braids – the
more wearable styles have demonstrated that movement is a key trend this season;
as demonstrated in the Liz Black exhibition and in the Yeashin show. Strong centre partings with slicked back hair have also been
emerging as a leading trend to contrast with movement on the lengths.
The Tony&Guy team have been using the Label.m gel to create the
slick side of the look, followed by Label.m Sea Salt spray on the lengths to
enhance movement.
