Day Four at Fashion Scout and it’s hard to miss trends featured not only in the collections themselves but in the hair, meticulously styled by the TONI&GUY team backstage.  This Spring / Summer ’14 season so far we’ve seen collections come to life, a complete look where the hair and make-up help to tell the story of the collection.

High volume sculptural do’s have made a few appearance on the catwalk with designers Yong Kyun Shin, Tahir Sultan and Liz Black opting for high impact hair styling. A soft sculptured quiff complimented the intricately constructed silhouettes at Tahir Sultan whilst Liz Black’s girls went wilder with a look that was more abstract. Yong Kyun Shin’s future/retro inspired hair created volume with an alternative take on 1940s victory rolls that place beautifully with the designer’s architectural collection.

Sculptural hair transcends collections and styles and is a look that can make any outfit into a statement piece easily replicated at home, framing the face and highlighting textures.
