It was extremely busy backstage at Rohmir but the Fashion
Scout Team still managed to observe The Body Shop and Toni&Guy teams and
the looks that they were creating for the show.
Romir’s inspiration comes from one of the greatest
surrealist painters of all time, Dali. The clothes express poetic luxury ‘Dali
Ode’, a beautiful excess of representation with the Spanish poet Lorcca.
Head Make-Up Artist Jo Sugar explains that the make up
expresses ‘poetic luxury, beautiful excess and is a representation of how Dali
lived his life.’
Skin is prepped with The Body Shop Aloe range with the
Soothing Daycream being a particular hero product. On the models faces’,
All-in-One BB Cream in shade 01 was used to eradicate any flaws and ensure an
even, undetectable finish. To finish the flawless look, Radiance highlighter is
used to reflect light off the skin and create a subtly dewy look. Shimmer Waves
powder in 01 was also used to highlight the face. Brows were kept quite natural
and only filled in where needed.
Lips were lined with soft-textured Lip Liner in Rosy Red for
definition and filled in with Colour Crush Lipstick in Enraptured Red for a
stunning pop of high-impact colour. 12 of the 14 models even had gemstones
applied to their lips for that extra wow-factor.
As for the hair, it was safe to say it was an artwork in
itself. Each model was blow dried smooth and straight before being slicked back
into a low ponytail and the lengths curled in small sections and pinned to the
back of the head. The front section of hair was erected into a high bouffant
style and held in place with plenty of label.m products, including the Shine
Spray.
